What You'll Do:

As part of the Engineering team, you’ll work directly with product management, product engineers, quality engineers and DevOps engineers in a dynamic, open environment, employing the latest techniques and best practices to accelerate the design, development, and deployment of scalable, enterprise-class, SaaS applications for the cloud.

The UI/UX team is small and there are unlimited opportunities to make an impact. Your days will be spent iterating on front-end improvements. Collaboration of the UI/UX team and product management to design new features and improve on existing ones. Turning mockups and designs into front end code. Integrating the user interface with REST APIs both internal and 3rd party. Participating in code reviews, working with quality engineering, and deep integration into the entire software development lifecycle (SLDC).

What You'll Bring:
  • 5 or more years hands on with front end web technologies; having a deep understanding of the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the HTTP request-response cycle
  • Working knowledge of the software product development lifecycle including incorporating design and feedback iterations using tools such as Figma, wireframes, and mockups
  • Strong programming and troubleshooting skills
  • Extensive experience working with React, Angular, Backbone.js, or other transferrable framework skills
  • Follow best practices in implementing unit tests for JavaScript and front-end frameworks
  • Have experience implementing and consuming REST APIs
  • Exceptional teamwork skills: know when to lead, when to follow, and that we’re our strongest when we work together
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Ability to communicate clearly (verbal and written skills) with internal employees & external customers.
  • A passion for working on and explaining technical concepts in an understandable language to customers.
Bonus If You Have:
  • Understanding of Linux/Windows installation and configuration, including networking and storage setup
  • Practical experience working with one or more of the following technologies AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenShift and/or VMware vSphere as a software developer
  • Experience evaluating and implementing new tools and libraries that enhance our customer’s experience and improve developer productivity
  • Have experience working with Cassandra DSE
  • Have experience working with Apache SOLR
  • Have worked with Spring Framework MVC
  • Have experience working with tools like Jira, GitHub and Gerrit
