What You'll Do:

As part of the Product team, you’ll work directly with product management, product engineers, quality engineers and DevOps engineers in a dynamic, open environment, employing the latest techniques and best practices to accelerate the design, development, and deployment of scalable, enterprise-class, SaaS applications for the cloud.

This will be our first UI/UX hire and there are unlimited opportunities to make an impact. This position will be directly responsible for redesigning the current River Meadow UI and ensuring a smooth experience for users. Your days will be spent building out the new UI Design System and mockups for new components and pages. You will collaborate with the front end dev team and product management to design new features and improve on existing ones.

What You'll Bring:
  • 5 or more years hands on experience in a UI/UX design role
  • Experience planning or working in an early stage design system. This would include designing many of the pieces a modern web app needs. Things like a color palette, typography style guide, layout spacing, and the look and feel of all the needed components like buttons, inputs, links, menus, forms, data tables, etc

  • Experience with modern design software like Figma (preferred), Sketch, or Adobe XD

  • Working knowledge of the software product development lifecycle including incorporating esign and feedback iterations using tools such as Figma, wireframes, and mockups

  • -Should enjoy cross collaboration with developers and other product teams in the process of building out a product and feature

  • Open to feedback and constructive critique, while also confident in advocating for design decisions when appropriate

  • A passion for working on and explaining design concepts in an understandable language to customers
