VMworld 2013 is almost upon us!

At RiverMeadow, we’re in full gear finalizing preparations for the show, where we will be showcasing the RiverMeadow Cloud Migration SaaS, which provides a simple, automated and customizable approach to onboarding and migrating server workloads into and between VMware vCloud environments.

We’re very excited to announce that both RiverMeadowand Savvis will be demonstrating migrations between Savvis Cloud Data Center and VMware^® vCloud^® Hybrid Service^™, using the RiverMeadow Cloud Migration SaaS. We’ll also showcase migrating AWS workloads into Savvis Cloud Data Center and VMware^® vCloud^® Hybrid Service^™. The RiverMeadow Cloud Migration SaaS provides Savvis with an easy, customizable and automated approach to onboarding and migrating server workloads into and between Savvis Cloud Data Center environments. Demonstrations are set to take place daily at both the RiverMeadow and the Savvis booths.

In addition, we’ll be driving server workload migrations to VMware^® vCloud^® Service Provider environments through a joint marketing campaign with VMware. The VMware^® Cloud Credits Purchasing Program enables businesses to take advantage of public or hybrid cloud as a comprehensive IT strategy, offering a low-risk, automated means to centralize workload management while combatting issues such as cloud sprawl and rogue IT spend.

Users can redeem a portion of their VMware Cloud Credits with participating vCloud Service Providers, such as Savvis, to migrate server workloads using the RiverMeadow Cloud Migration SaaS. With VMware Cloud Credits, businesses of all sizes can take control of their cloud workloads and advantage of cloud economics while improving business agility and reducing IT capital expenditures on new equipment.

Finally, Jay Workman, Director, Service Provider Marketing, VMware, and our Vice President of Marketing, Scott Colgan, will be providing an overview of how VMware, working with RiverMeadow, is making it fast, easy and affordable for partners to migrate virtually any server workload into their vCloud® environment – from a competitive cloud or private cloud.
